How we reinvented our business to help people
In the midst of the world's worst crisis, Magalu, the Brazilian retail giant, reinvented its business model in order to expand its market and, most importantly, to assist people affected by the pandemic. That's when we launched Magalu Partner, a business digitization platform for those who were laid off or had to close their businesses due to the pandemic. A new way of working with sellers had arrived at the company, altering our internal culture and the company's foundation: Marketplace generated more revenue than our traditional stores. We transformed our business by assisting those in need.
